Haji Najri bin Haji Saban
Glass Artisan

Together with the other Mahkota’s Artisan, they were awarded with a Good Design Award from the Asian Japan Centre, Japan (AJC) back in 2004. Recently, Haji Najri were further recognized by the Royal Institute of Singapore as Senior Members of Royal Institute of Artists (SMRIArt) in February 2019.

Among the first handpicked apprentice batch the highly talented Haji Najri has been working with glass ever since Mahkota’s open in 2000. Recognizing his talent, Haji Najri has been train both in Langkawi and Sweden in the art of Glassblowing. His artistic nature not only apparent in his Glassblowing Pieces but are equally talented in Graphic Design.

Razali bin Hj Emran
Production Supervisor, Glass Artisan

Razali bin Hj Emran has worked with Mahkota for 18 years from his humble beginning of being an Apprentice, the now fully trained Artisans are leading the Production Department as Production Supervisor. Since he joins Mahkota he has undergone training in Sweden and Langkawi to learn the art of Glassblowing.

Razali has created more than 40,000 Glassblown pieces for Mahkota and has created numerous masterpieces for the company client’s.

The Artisans were awarded with a Good Design Award from the Asian Japan Centre, Japan (AJC) back in 2004. Recently, Razali were further recognized by the Royal Institute of Singapore as Senior Members of Royal Institute of Artists (SMRIArt) in February 2019.

Noorazlin bin Hj Garif
Glass Artisan

Noorazlin handwork are easily recognizable for being more abstract laced with contemporary design. His glass pieces and vivid color selection will certainly caught the eye for those who love modern design. Together with Haji Najri he was the first apprentice batch handpicked by Mahkota Crystal and has undergone training at China, Sweden and Langkawi learning on the various different aspect of Glassblowing.
